What an amazing weekend. The sun shone, the scarecrows were magnificent and Bromyard seemed to enjoy the entire weekend.

The Scarecrow Committee would like to thank all of the people and organisations who entered the competition. We are so sorry that we can’t give everyone a prize. Thanks to all of you who turned out to support the Scarecrows and their entourages as they paraded through the town on Friday evening. Thank you to all the people who walked around the scarecrows over the weekend with or without a competition form. Our supper was well attended and very well supported - thank you to all who came. We had several donations over the weekend. Thank you.

A special thank you to Bromyard Town Council, Emma Bouston and Legges of Bromyard. Any money the Festival makes is carried forward to next year’s Festival even so we have been able to support the Festival Association in buying flags for the town and also Scarecrow Festival money was used to buy the Festival Marquees.

As we close the door on Scarecrow Festival 2026 we look forward to 2027 when our theme will be The Animal Kingdom. We need a play, book film poem etc. with the name of an animal, bird, fish insect within it i.e. Lion King. See you next year and thank you once again
